Munkustrap is the leader of the Jellicles when Old Deuteronomy isn't around. He's a kind but serious cat, the narrator and organizer of the Ball. He looks after the other cats, and basically oversees the proceedings. He wants everything to be perfect for Old Deuteronomy.
Munkustrap is usually easy to recognize. He's a large grey tabby with an air of authority. He is usually in the center of the action or with Old Deuteronomy.
